Being mature at 23/24 for me is about holding in my anger/frustrations/hurt. It's about being patient. Its about being polite when what I really wanted to do was to really say something nasty. Say something that would really knock some sense into some people.

Mature, at this age is definitely NOT about wanting to get married. It's not about imagining what my ideal wedding video will be, what color will my gown be, or what kind of mushy mushy words will my husband say to me on the first night we spend together. At this age, for me, wedding is a picture of responsibility, maturity, giving others first before wanting for myself. Respect. And all so many other boring words that I won't put down here.

23/24 is about thinking of others FIRST. putting FAMILY first. Education blablabla first. Its basically being a grownup. And making all sorts of boring but right decisions.

2013 is the year of being polite, smiling or looking away or just shutting up when shit happens.

I'm not a kid anymore. And you can hit me with you're best shot.
